Shipping and Postage
We keep a large stock of merchandise on hand. As a result, most orders (excluding instruments, P.O. and Bulk Orders) in 1 or 2 business days.

Standard Ground, U.S. Only
Includes Armed Forces APO & FPO, U.S. Territories, Insular Areas, and Freely associated States when we can ship by United States Postal Service.
Delivery time averages 2 to 7 business days for addresses in the continental United States. Deliveries to other locations will take longer. Most orders under $50.00 are shipped by USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class), orders over $50.00 are shipped by USPS Priority mail or UPS Ground (for larger items and/or heavier items). Forrests Music reserves the right to select the shipping method, if you have a preference we may be able to accommodate you but there may be an additional cost.

Canadian shipping rates are estimates. Due to higher insurance and shipping costs, some orders may cost more than these rates. In that case we will e-mail you for instructions. Shipments to Canada may incur taxes or other fees imposed by Canada. Any such costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping to Canada averages 2 to 3 weeks. This is a function of our respective post offices, and is not under our control.
In-store Pickup
We will have your order ready for you to pick up in person at Forrests Music. There is no shipping charge, sales tax is charged at the current rate in Berkeley California. You must present photo ID to pick up the order.
Armed Forces APO & FPO
APO & FPO shipments are made at the ground rate when we can ship by United States Postal Service. When ordering scroll down the list of states and you will find an option group labeled "U.S. Armed Forces"

International Shipments
Depending on the value and weight of an order, we will use the lowest cost method while assuring prompt delivery. We ship by Air Mail, International Express Mail and UPS. The cost of shipping may include the cost of insurance, which is dependent on the value of the package. The exact cost of such shipping can only be determined by taking the shipment's weight, value and destination into consideration.
We will contact you by e-mail with exact costs and options. Shipments outside of the United States may incur taxes or other fees imposed by the destination country. Any such costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
